Juraj Hudy e il team di progettazione della XRAY hanno sviluppato una buggy completamente nuova (con l’introduzione del sistema “Multi-Flex”). La XB9 ha un nuovo telaio di alluminio Swiss 7075 T6 lavorato con macchine CNC più stretto che è più flessibile longitudinalmente e più rigido in direzione laterale. Il pacco batterie è stato spostato in avanti per garantire un migliore equilibrio. Anche varie parti della trasmissione, realizzate in HUDY Spring Steel, sono state migliorate per una maggiore affidabilità ed efficienza con una massa inferiore.
